  • Adolescence represents a specific psychological chapter in our lives and it can be very useful to have a space separate from school and home to explore questions, resolve conflicts or get help

  • Adolescents sometimes request therapy themselves or are referred by their parents or teachers for concerns including:

  • Substance abuse

  • Disordered eating

  • Difficulty with social engagement

  • Anxiety and/or depression

  • School absenteeism / phobia

  • After an initial assessment, we fix a therapeutic framework which typically includes weekly individual appointments and punctual meetings with parents.

  • For learning related concerns, I carry out standardized cognitive testing for adolescents (WISC-V).  This tool highlights strengths and weaknesses and can be used to help clarify areas for intervention or support.
