For ADOLESCENTS
(12-17 y.o.)
-
Adolescence represents a specific psychological chapter in our lives and it can be very useful to have a separate space to explore questions, resolve conflicts or get help
-
Adolescents sometimes request therapy themselves or are referred by their parents or teachers for concerns including:
-
School absenteeism
-
Anxiety and/or depression
-
Difficulty with social engagement
-
Substance abuse
-
Disordered eating
-
-
After an initial assessment, we fix a therapeutic framework which typically includes weekly individual appointments and punctual meetings with parents.
-
For learning related concerns, I carry out standardized cognitive testing for adolescents (WISC-V). This tool highlights strengths and weaknesses and can be used to help clarify areas for intervention or support.
